The RBM Frost Protection Valve provides system protection for solar collector panels when installed in low temperature climates. The valve opens when the ambient temperature drops below 3°C, activating the water supply from the collector tank to pass through the panels and reduce the risk of water freeze in the collectors. When the ambient temperature increases above 6°C, the valve will close automatically.
